In 2005, the Insitut Paul Bocuse created the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance which today brings together 9 of the world’s finest universities in hospitality and restaurant management: the USA, Peru, 2 in Brazil, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, Greece and Finland. Each university selects their best students to follow a 4 month intensive training at the Institut Paul Bocuse in subjects such as cuisine, the arts de la table, restaurant management and others. This specific programme is validated via examinations carried out by the Institut Paul Bocuse which count towards the credits obtained by students in the home universities. Throughout the year, various professorial exchanges take place between the partners. The fourth intake for the Institut Paul Bocuse Worldwide Alliance will arrive on May 2008.
