The Research Center spans 800 square meters, providing a remarkable environment for work by graduate students and resident researchers, as well as companies in the agrifoods, hotel, restaurant and institutional catering sectors.

The building itself was once the stables of the Château du Vivier. It has been entirely renovated with an emphasis on eco-friendly architecture that preserves energy and natural resources to contribute to the fight against global warming.

  • Water: all systems are designed to save water, including flow limiters and recovery of rainwater to water vegetation.
  • Energy: thermal insulation, renewable energy solutions like heat pumps and solar panels, low-consumption fluorescent lighting.

The Research Center spans 800 square meters, providing a remarkable environment for work by graduate students and resident researchers, as well as companies in the agrifoods, hotel, restaurant and institutional catering sectors. Flexible workspace is designed for a variety of activities: offices, meeting rooms, work areas, library and a laboratory. Classrooms and conference rooms (30 and 55 sq. meters) can accommodate from 12 to 40 people and are equipped with videoprojectors and audioconference systems. The Research Center also has a 100-square-meter work area used for brainstorming sessions, debriefings, exhibitions, breaks, etc. The library on the second floor is equipped with a database, specialized works and scientific reviews.

The experimental platform figures at the heart of the facility, equipped with a modular restaurant and kitchen and a laboratory.

The different facilities at the Research Center can be reserved by companies as part of a dedicated business services offer.
