49 students, 1,000 visitors in 5 days, the awakening of a Sixth sense

800 meals were served in 5 days by 3rd year students supervised by two graduates from the Master’s program.

rECOlte, Box Bop ! Cocoon et Pic’Chic were the four restaurant concepts thought up for the Sixièmesens restaurant by students in their 3rd year of the International Hotel and Restaurant Management program.

From the development of the menu to the decoration and even the creation of a logo, the four thematic dining areas were entirely designed, organized, managed and operated by the students. Sixièmesens imposed itself as one of the most innovative and complete spaces at SIRHA.

From 11:30am to 3:30pm, the students had to cope non-stop with record attendance for the number of meals served. Some 1,000 professionals from around the world were welcomed during the 5 days of the event, meaning 40 meals served each day in each dining area. In these certainly difficult, but mostly very motivating conditions, the students demonstrated one more time that the complexity of their projects enables them to unleash tenfold their professionalism, ingenuity and the desire to surprise.

Plan to meet for the 2013 edition of SIRHA to enjoy new adventures…
