On Wednesday, 20 June, Institut Paul Bocuse was honored at the award ceremony for the 2012 Trophies of Pedagogy that took place in Paris. The event aims at reward the best French teachers, according to the results of SMBG ranking. Representing all the pedagogical teachers, Eléonore Vial, dean director of academic development and Valérie Girard, responsible of the Licence and Master’s degree of in International Hotel and Restaurant Management, in partnership with IAE Lyon, was awarded a prize.
Every year, the firm, SMBG-EDUNIVERSAL, organizes an event entitled “The Trophies of Pedagogy”. The aim of this event is to award the best French pedagogues, with reference to the results of the SMBG rankings for Best-Undergraduate degrees, Best-Grandes Ecoles and Best-Masters.
The classification has the following criteria:
- The program’s reputation
- Proposed salaries after the completion of the program
- The measured level of students’ satisfaction
It’s the last criterion that enables a list of 100 master’s program directors, 10 grandes écoles directors and 10 undergraduate/bachelors directors to be compiled thanks to scores attributed by students. All of these faculty members have received unanimous support from students and have thus obtained the best levels of satisfaction regarding their work as pedagogues and program directors. Eléonore Vial and Valérie Girard obtained a satisfaction mark of 4,51/5.
